Visitors with a disability

Plan your trip

The Park is equipped with numerous facilities for visitors with a disability, offering plenty of opportunity to come and visit the Park.

Several walking routes in the Park are suitable for wheelchair users. The wildlife observation post “Millelamel” is also accessible by wheelchair. The Museonder — the underground museum — is wheelchair accessible as well. A lift takes you down to the underground section.

In addition, a range of adapted bicycles can be rented free of charge and picked up at the Bicycle Repair Station. You’ll find more information about all of this below.

Wheelchairs and specially adapted bicycles

Wheelchairs are available in the Museonder, the Kröller-Müller Museum and the Sculpture Garden. They are for use in the museums. There are two types of wheelchair bicycles that can be used by visitors with a disability and their carers on the cycling paths, providing access to every corner of the Park. These bicycles, just as wheelchairs, can be used free of charge. Tricycles, electric bicycles, tandems and easy-to-mount bikes are also available. It is recommended to book these bicycles prior to your visit.

Accessible toilets

Accessible toilets are available in several locations throughout the Park. You can find them at:
- Jachthuis Sint Hubertus
- Park Pavilion in the center of the park
- The left side of the Museonder.

Guided tours at Jachthuis Sint Hubertus

The guided tours in and around Jachthuis Sint Hubertus are suitable for people in a normal wheelchair. Visitors can use their own wheelchairs. The special tours are not suitable for people in a wheelchair. People in a larger-size wheelchair can use a wheelchair of the Park. They are intended for use within Jachthuis Sint Hubertus only. With a view to the limited space available, a maximum of one participant in a wheelchair can be permitted.
