The nature of De Hoge Veluwe National Park is overwhelming and diverse. During a visit, you can explore deciduous, coniferous, and mixed forests, as well as heathlands, grasslands, and drifting sand landscapes. There are a wide variety of plant and animal species. From the rare pearl-bordered fritillary to the imposing red deer, and from the Alcon Blue to the small black salsify: they all occur in the Park.
